After the small disappointment that meant not seeing auroras in Iceland, we made the decision to keep trying. Once we were back from Iceland, Sergio had clear that we could make such trips on our own and I could not agree more. We could organize the trip to our measure. We took a step forward and chose the Finnish Lapland to start. We had a small glimpse of auroras for a couple of nights which, for us, at that time, was very exciting. From our hotel, in a hotel complex in Saariselkä, we moved towards the north and the west, even reaching the border with Russia. In the absence of auroras, we had fun and adventure with snowmobile tours and dog sledding. A great experience that motivated us to look for new destinations.
